The story of one borderline. A line created by who? How do you know that you’ve crossed the line? These questions led me to research the line between Northern Ireland and Ireland. I carried out a survey on the border which influenced my design. 61.5% of people said that borders were obvious, so I cut my publication to represent this border. Every other signature is a different shade of paper to reiterate the divide throughout. There is a paper tear that grows throughout the book to visualise this separation. It contains both views, stories and histories from both sides throughout in order to remain unbiased.
